Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Northern Edge IT Consulting ("Northern Edge", "I", "me"), based in Diamond Bar, California, collects through www.neit.tech, how it is used, and the choices you have. Northern Edge is run by one person, James Kirkpatrick.
What I collect
Information you give me. When you use the contact form, you send your name, email address, what you need (the option you pick), and your message if you write one. If you email or call me directly, I receive whatever you include.
Information collected automatically. Like any website, the servers that deliver this site receive your IP address and browser details (such as browser type and device information). The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, which checks browser signals to tell people from bots. I don't use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies of my own.
How I use it
I use the information you send to reply to your inquiry, set up a call if you want one, and keep normal business records of our conversation. I don't use it for anything else, and I don't add you to a mailing list.
Who it is shared with
I don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. To run the site and the form, it passes through these services:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, runs the contact form, and provides Turnstile spam protection.
- Telegram delivers a notification to me with the details of your form submission.
- Fastmail emails your form submission to me and handles my business email, including replies.
The site's pages, styles, images, and icons are all served from neit.tech itself, and it uses your device's built-in fonts. The only outside file your browser requests is on pages with the contact form:
- Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com) for spam protection. It receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
Each provider handles that information under its own privacy policy. I may also disclose information if required by law.
How long I keep it
I keep your inquiry and our correspondence as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain my business records.
Your choices: access and deletion
You can ask to see the personal information I have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] with your request. I'll confirm the request is from you before acting on it.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site doesn't respond to Do Not Track signals, because it doesn't track you: there are no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking tools on it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
